Admissions materials for a truly unique university experience where East meets West

Leibowitz Branding & Design partnered with Simpson Scarborough to rebrand Hawaii Pacific University’s admissions materials so that they better communicate the university’s unique attributes to its current, past, and prospective students. HPU has much to offer its students, faculty, and community, and through a thorough competitive and internal communications review and Simpson Scarborough’s qualitative and quantitative research, we developed a strategy to give these attributes the platform they deserve.

Leveraging a research-grounded strategic vision, we applied a compelling visual direction to a number of university admissions materials. Specifically, we supported this vision by designing brochures, admissions posters, acceptance packets and financial aid information, and a high school-focused viewbook. By directing an on-campus photoshoot that visually framed the HPU experience, we populated these pieces with compelling imagery, all of which illustrated HPU’s unique, hands-on focused education. With rebranded admissions materials, Hawaii Pacific University is now better equipped to communicate its unique offerings and maintain its competitive edge.
