One team, one philosophy, one mission and one website
As an independent investment boutique, San Francisco-based Jackson Square Partners (JSP) offers sophisticated institutional investors and consultants six growth strategies defined by concentrated, long-term investing that focuses on intrinsic business value growth.
Since their founding in 2014, JSP has maintained two websites – an austere site that highlights the firm’s collaborative culture and unified investment approach, and a data-heavy site that contains frequently updated information about their funds and fund performance. Coinciding with the firm’s move to the Presidio, we set about refreshing the Jackson Square brand and integrating their two websites. After research and solidifying the messaging, we introduced a sophisticated color palette that complements the “Golden Gate Red” color of their logo and provides more latitude to the brand’s expression.
We married recognizable imagery of San Francisco with photographs of landmarks in the global cities in which JSP invests. We mixed staff photos with stock photography at launch, as the pandemic delayed any photo shoots in their new offices. Once the team officially moves to their new space, they will have photos taken for the website that capture the culture of the firm. Animation helps make the firm’s timeline and investment team demographics more engaging to site visitors.
A comprehensive navigation enables site visitors to locate specific strategy and fund information regardless of where they are on the website. The Jackson Square Partners website illustrates a vibrant, collaborative firm that is beginning a new chapter in its history.
The company is named after the San Francisco district that survived the great fire following the earthquake of 1906.
