Creating a familial, yet distinctive voice within a global investment firm
Calamos Wealth Management, the Chicago-based wealth advisory arm of Calamos Investments, was enjoying recent success, yet was looking to separate themselves from the investment side of the company. With an open architecture advisory strategy, Calamos Wealth Management is able to provide unique and tailored solutions to individuals, families, institutions and professional athletes. Leibowitz was tasked with differentiating the firm, while holding true to the iconic Calamos name. We provided Calamos Wealth Management with a new brand, leaning heavily on the ‘Wealth Management’ in their name and focusing on the generational aspects of family wealth as key differentiators. A fresh, vibrant color palette separated them from the investment side, giving them a unique visual identity that they could own. The website uses sharp angles that allude to the logo, providing Calamos Wealth Management with an image treatment that can be carried to other mediums, including a 4-page and a 6-page brochure for the firm that we created to coincide with the site launch.
